1. CONTRIBUTION COLLECTION PROCESS

Visitors fill out the contribution form without creating a membership account; occupation, salary amount, currency, years of experience, city/country and optional note fields are taken. When the form is submitted, an e-mail containing a verification link is forwarded to the contributor. The record is not published until the link is clicked. After verification, the e-mail address is hashed with SHA-256; it is never stored as plain text in the system again.

2. MODERATION AND SECURITY

• Automatic Filters:

  Identifies identity-identifying or inappropriate expressions and marks them to the moderation team.

• Manual Review:

  Administrative users review contributions manually; anonymize or reject data when necessary.

• Data Encryption:

  Sector and free note fields are kept encrypted in the database; only anonymous content is published.

3. STATISTICAL CALCULATION

Contributions are grouped by occupation and period; minimum, average and maximum values are calculated. Currencies are stored as recorded; shown in the same currency on comparison screens. Data sets with a low sample number are shown to the user with a “statistically limited” warning. In province-based map summaries, only cities with more than one verified contribution in the last 12 months are listed.

4. PUBLICATION AND UPDATE

Statistics are recalculated at regular intervals; the page is automatically updated when new contributions are added to the system. When deletion or correction requests are received, all records matching the hash value of the user e-mail are found and necessary action is taken. Google Analytics data is analyzed anonymously to understand content interests and improve user experience.
